Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using LetQuiz. By creating an account or using the service in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use LetQuiz.
1. The Service
LetQuiz is a web-based flashcard study platform. We provide tools to create, organise, and study sets of term–definition pairs. The service is provided free of charge and without any warranty as to availability or fitness for any particular purpose.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create an account using a false identity or on behalf of someone else without their permission. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create (study sets, card terms and definitions, and folder names). By making content public you grant LetQuiz a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content to other users of the service.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the service at scale.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt the service.
- Use the service to distribute spam or unsolicited content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network.
5. Intellectual Property
The LetQuiz name, logo, design, and underlying software are the property of LetQuiz and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetQuiz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of study progress.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Great Britain.
